LCF introduces BSc in Beauty Science

The London College of Fashion (LCF) is to introduce a BSc in Beauty Science this October.

The course will complement the foundation degree in Beauty Therapy and Health Studies, which has been running at the college for three years.

The course is aimed at students wishing to pursue a career in senior positions within the beauty industry, including technical sales and staff training. It provides knowledge of scientific disciplines that underpin the health and beauty area, combined with relevant marketing and man agement skills, said the college.

Students will be encouraged to work autonomously and creatively, and will develop confidence in critical analysis and decision-making, said the college.

Facilities at the LCF include four treatment rooms, a gymnasium, plus three product formulation and testing labs.
