Emma Whaites, from Regis's Dingles branch in Exeter, scooped the Beauty
Therapist of the Year honour at the hair and beauty company's Creative
Awards held in Birmingham. The £1,000 prize, sponsored by
French skincare house Guinot, recognises outstanding customer service,
sales and treatment standards.
With more than five years' experience as
a beauty therapist at Regis hair and beauty salons in Debenhams and Dingles
department stores,

educator, responsible for training other therapists in the Regis network. "Emma's
enthusiasm and commitment to customer care really shone through in her
application," said
Rege account manager Lynn Bms. She added: "The fact that she
was appointed a beauty educator just reinforces her dedication and motivation
to help other beauty therapists and further develop the beauty business
within Regis."
Andrea Cryer from Debenhams in Manchester was named runner-up
at the annual awards, held to highlight the talent and creativity of
hair stylists and therapists in the group.
